Hey Dudes.. i wanted to animate some character in softimage.. can anyone of you forward some link wher i can get some rigged characterz ? Some links of reference files or Video Tutorials on Animation in XSI will be really helpful too... Thanxxx |

Glad to help follow the instructions.. you dont need to download anything...
From the Model Toolbar: Get>Model>Character Man Get>Model>Biped Rig Select Character Man, In your Animate Toolbar click on envelope>set envelope, the picker cursor will appear then click on scene, open the biped rollout and midle click on the enevelope group and then right click on the viewport twice.. just say yess to any msg that will appear.. done... now you can do wht the hell you want to da... damn i can't belive i actullt typed this.... hope it helps.... |

Thats a great resourse dudes.. EdHarris and Edgard and the biped seems more than enough for me to try my animations.. thanx Soul, thnx Dyna.. hope ill catch u guys soon whn m stuk wid the animation tools somewhere...

Edgard is cool to work wid. It's Synoptic is excellent is really helpful. Its facial controls are amazing and makes us feel really free to get that expression out of em.
