Any way now u can use any browser with Maya. They have created a plugin for that.
Just type "webBrowser" in the command prompt for installing it. or give it a search in Maya Help if u need...

addressing a plug through MEL

can anybody tell me how can I address a plug of a blenshape node directly with MEL??
I mean plugs are named like input target ...6000 and inbetween are like 5575 etc. now how do i call it or query...

can u giuve some details?? have u skinned with selected joints???? do not select CVs and the skeleton to skin. do select the entire geometry and skin it first and then 0 out the CVs from component...
